The sonic realm creates atmospheres that are ripe for new quotidian situations, some of which, sometimes, can be carried all the way to abstraction. Their point in common? A longing to find that perfect place...Honolulu, perhaps?
Daydreaming and achieving one's dreams (or not), facing the fears that stand in the way, the resulting anxiety and the inherent pleasure, in watching a dream come true. A trip to Honolulu as a symbol of freedom.
In this production dance and interactive technology are fused and the recorded cues of a dancer are processed in real time and fed into the soundtrack.
